Today I am thrilled to announce that Arcadia is now 100,000 members strong. Over one-hundred thousand of you across all 50 states believe in new energy choices. You believe in using your electric bill for good and have supported over 200 million kWh of clean wind energy to date.
We now have more members than over 1,000 different U.S. utilities. Now that’s something to be proud of.
When we started Arcadia four years ago, we wanted to make renewable energy universally accessible. Together, our Arcadia community is now driving demand for renewable energy in the U.S. by supporting wind farms across the country and helping build new community solar projects.
This year we also reached a huge tipping point thanks to you. We recently launched Price Alerts for customers in competitive energy markets to always find and negotiate the best clean energy rates. Our team constantly monitors local energy markets and uses our technology, and the aggregate buying power of our Arcadia community, to secure lower rates.
Some members are paying 20 percent less than what they were originally paying – with cleaner energy.
